Sunday I crossed the boarder and attended the Tijuana Bullfights in Las Playas. Having lived in San Diego my whole life, I have always wanted to do this, but never took the time to make the trip down. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. From seeing the Matadors up close and watching them in a chapel praying before going into fight, to the feeling the energy in the arena during the fight, to the slaughtering of the bull after. It was a ritualistic, spiritual, athletic and beautiful event.

Yesterday I shot a wedding in Vista. The groom had the idea of going to a local park right before heading to the church and playing a little football and getting some photos. I really like the following series. btw...that is the bestman playing defense.

Kyle is the brother of a good friend of mine and I just met Stefanie this weekend. They are great folks and I had a blast taking their engagement photos. I am certain their Palm Springs wedding in October is gonna be amazing.

Mission Gathering

Mission Gathering Christian Church is in North Park, San Diego. My wife and I have been apart of this community for almost two years. One of the pastors approched me about doing their staff photos. It was a lot of fun. We shot in the East Village District.
